James Thompson is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Vanson HaloSource, an AHVP portfolio company.
Prior to joining AHVP, James was a securities analyst with Security Capital Group, an opportunity fund focused on investing in public and private equities. He was integral in the formation of Security Capital Employee REIT Fund and Security Capital Preferred Growth. These funds were focused on taking active ownership positions in under-capitalized companies.
James began his career as a credit analyst for Continental Illinois Bank, where he performed cash-flow assessments on companies in the retail, gaming and technology industries.
James has a B.A. from Gonzaga University and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington
